The pre-test is a simple tool to identify the current level of understanding and determine the areas where training is required. The post-test allows participants to demonstrate their mastery of the information.
Session Planner. This tool will help you plan and present a successful training program. It makes it easy for you to customize the program around your applications. It serves as a permanent record for “what worked best” when the training session is completed.
The Post-Test will allow participants to demonstrate their mastery of the information presented during the training program. A comparison of Pre- and Post-Test scores will show participants just how much they learned by going through this program. Provide each participant with a Post-Test and a pen or pencil, Allow 15 minutes to complete the test.
When the participants have finished the Post-Test, provide immediate feedback of their results by allowing each participant to grade his or her own test in a supportive non-threatening environment.
Read the correct answers aloud, or ask for volunteers to state their answers to each question. The Post-Test answer key begins on the next page.
Provide immediate corrective explanations and feedback for any incorrect answers. Use this opportunity for participants to discuss how they arrived at their answers. While there is no “passing” grade, generally students should score 90% or higher in order for you ton gauge whether or not additional instruction may be needed.
